Qi Baishi’s masterpiece

1. "Shrimp" Qi Baishi is famous for his paintings of shrimps. Qi Baishi not only painted many shrimps, but also his "invention" and his "patent", which became his "symbol" and " symbol". Qi Baishi succeeded in painting shrimps, so he made a special notice: "Baishi painted shrimps, one dozen or two." People who know art said: "The style is not high, it's worth it! It's worth it!" Most of the people who asked for the painting did not bargain, but paid for the painting. Everyone gets something. On this day, there happened to be a well-behaved customer with a bald head and monkey cheeks. He took 35 taels of silver and went to buy paintings from Qi Baishi. He thought, this old man would paint four of them, wouldn't he earn half of them? He knocked on the door of Qi's house with great pride in his heart. Qi Baishi looked at it, smiled slightly, happily accepted the money, and asked the bald customer to pick up the painting the next day.

The next day, the bald customer came to Qi’s house and opened the picture. There were only three small shrimps on the picture. The shrimps were not big, but they were also lively and cheerful. The bald man thought, my five taels of silver cannot be given away in vain. Seeing Qi Baishi about to have an attack, Qi Baishi pointed at the painting and asked him to take a closer look.

2. In the painting "Begonia and Two Crabs", four crabapple leaves are prominently displayed in different postures. Between the tang leaves, there is a red branch of wild goose, and the red and green colors complement each other. The crabapple that should have been placed among the leaves took a unique path and came out from the side, suddenly showing a somewhat swaying appearance. The two crabs, one upside down and the other reversed, are placed at the bottom of the painting, echoing the dragonfly in ink on the upper left. The inscription is made of Qi Baishi, the old man from the mountain. The seal is Qi Baishi.

This picture is the work of Dou Fang. The layout of the picture is relaxed and casual, objects are freely interspersed, and the density and density are intertwined with originality. The posture is vivid.

3. "Qi Baishi Peony Picture" "Only the West is the most beautiful, and the most fragrant is the peony." , symbol of happiness and prosperity. The peonies created by Mr. Baishi in his lifetime can be said to be "in full bloom", but "black peonies" are extremely rare. Most of the peonies written by the old man are rough freehand brushwork. The peonies in the picture are written in light ink using the boneless method, with garcinia dotted stamens; the leaves are painted with azurite green, and the vigorous and powerful branches are written using the seal method; and finally, thick ink is used to paint the peonies. Lines outline leaf veins. The leaves and stems of the peonies are tilted to the left side of the painting, as if a breeze is blowing.

The branches and stems of Boneless Painting reveal the uncaring, tranquil and natural mood in just a few strokes. The shape is "between similarity and dissimilarity", which is Shiraishi's consistent aesthetic standard. The lower part is decorated with light flowers and green moss at seven or eight points, and the meaning of the corner of the courtyard is vividly displayed on the paper, full of life.
