Development of water-based lubricants

1, quality requirements of lubricant

The interaction between die and product and the plastic deformation of drawing parts will produce a lot of friction heat and deformation heat. If the heat is not radiated out of the deformation zone in time, the viscosity of the lubricant will decrease and the lubricating film will become thinner, which will lead to direct contact between the mold and the product, resulting in scratches on the surface of the product, and in serious cases, the product will be torn and scrapped. Therefore, the lubricant for deep drawing must have good lubricity and heat dissipation. According to the friction characteristics of stainless steel plate during deep drawing, the following requirements are required for the lubricant used:

(1) has excellent lubricity, deep drawing wear resistance and excellent viscosity-temperature performance.

(2) It can play the role of cooling the sheet metal and mold.

(3) It should be convenient for coating and cleaning.

2. Development of water-based lubricants

Because water-based lubricants have many advantages that dry film lubricants do not have, since the mid-early 1970s, countries have been studying water-based lubricants, and only the US Patent Office, the Japanese Patent Office and the European Patent Office have granted nearly 100 patents on water-based lubricants. IRMCO, founded in 194 1, invented an oil-free stamping lubricant with high efficiency and environmental protection, which can completely replace the traditional lubrication technology. It is a high polymer and molding lubricant, which is not only non-toxic, chemically stable, water-soluble and easy to clean, but also has unique heat-seeking. It is mainly used for stamping, stretching, punching, punching, bending and other processes in the forming process of metal workpieces, and can complete the most difficult deep drawing stamping and stretching. "Developing advanced lubrication technology, greatly improving the production process and working environment of users' metal forming, increasing output and contributing to environmental protection" is the only driving force for Amy's sustainable development.
