The main functions of the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation

(1) Responsible for comprehensive market supervision and management of agriculture, animal husbandry, pharmaceuticals, and intellectual property rights. Organize and carry out assessment and evaluation of quality implementation in Shenzhen. Coordinate the construction and application of quality infrastructure in the city, work with relevant departments to implement quality supervision systems for major engineering equipment, organize investigations into major quality accidents, and supervise product anti-counterfeiting work. Responsible for product quality and safety supervision in accordance with the law. Organize and implement product quality supervision and spot checks, risk monitoring and injury monitoring. Implement production license management for industrial products.

(13) Responsible for the unified management of measurement, certification and accreditation, inspection and testing. Implement the national measurement system, promote legal measurement units, and manage measuring instruments and value transfer and comparison work in accordance with responsibilities. Standardize and supervise commodity volume, market measurement behavior and measurement arbitration verification. Guide and coordinate the development of the city's certification, accreditation and inspection and testing industries. Supervise certification, accreditation, inspection and testing work in accordance with the law.

(14) Responsible for the management of agriculture and animal husbandry.
