Academic Achievements of Agricultural College of Nanjing Agricultural University

In recent years, the Agricultural College has undertaken more than 400 national 863 plan, 973 plan, climbing plan, national key projects, national natural science foundation, provincial scientific research projects and international cooperation research projects, with an average annual research funding of more than 30 million yuan. There are sufficient scientific research funds and many scientific research achievements. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, it has successively won national and provincial scientific and technological achievement awards 17, national invention patents 14, 8 new plant varieties protection rights, 26 software copyrights, 43 provincial standards, 28 new crop varieties cultivated in soybean, wheat, cotton and rice provinces, and published monographs and teaching materials 18. The Agricultural College has also established close bases for personnel training and employment cooperation with various administrative undertakings, scientific research and teaching and enterprises throughout the country.
