1.4876 Overview:

The alloy has high chromium content and sufficient nickel content, so it has high high temperature corrosion resistance and is widely used in industry.

It has excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance in chloride, low concentration NaOH aqueous solution and high temperature and high pressure water, so it is used to manufacture stress corrosion cracking resistance equipment.

1.4876 processing:

hot work

1, the temperature range is 1200℃ ~ 950℃, and the cooling mode is water quenching or rapid air cooling.

2. In order to obtain the best performance and creep resistance, solution treatment should be carried out after hot working.

3. The material can be directly sent into the furnace heated to 1200℃, and then quickly discharged for heat treatment within the specified temperature range. When the material temperature drops below the hot working temperature, it needs to be reheated.

cold-working

1, the work hardening rate is higher than that of austenitic stainless steel, so it is necessary to choose processing equipment. Cold working materials should be in the state of solution heat treatment, and intermediate annealing should be carried out when the cold working amount is large.

2. If the cold working amount is greater than 10%, the workpiece needs secondary solution treatment.

1.4876 welding process:

It is suitable for welding the same material or other metals by any traditional welding process, such as tungsten inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, etc., among which pulse arc welding is the first choice. If manual arc welding is used, (argon+helium +H2+ carbon dioxide) is recommended as the shielding gas.

1.4876 Corrosion resistance and main application environment:

INCOLOY800/800H/800HT is very similar in chemical composition, so it has good corrosion resistance to reduction, oxidation, nitriding medium and redox alternating medium, and has high metallurgical stability after long-term use at high temperature. However, due to the different (Al+Ti) contents of the three materials, the application environments of the three materials are also different, which are embodied in the following aspects: INCOLOY 800 will exert various properties at sub-zero, room temperature and high temperature of 600℃. INCOLOY 800H has good tensile strength above 600℃ because the content of (Al+Ti) is not higher than 0.7%, and it still has good toughness after long-term work below 700℃. INCOLOY 800HT has excellent yield strength above 700℃.
