Xiaomi camera can't turn the direction.

As we all know, at present, there are only three kinds of folding screen mobile phones on the market: horizontal folding (Huawei Mate X), horizontal folding (Samsung Galaxy Fold) and vertical folding (Samsung Galaxy Z Flip). Surprisingly, Xiaomi's new patent map shows that it brings a different folding screen mobile phone, and the camera can rotate.

According to the patent drawing, this mobile phone is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Motorola Razr 20 19, but the difference is that it has an independent camera module at the top, which can rotate horizontally by 90, and the side looks like a "hammer" after rotation.

This is very interesting. As we all know, the existence of the front camera is very important to maintain the large screen ratio of mobile phones. Although Xiaomi's design makes the screen flawless, the screen ratio will be greatly reduced. And such a design, if you think about it carefully, will it be unnecessary?

Because this module is actually a "forehead", you just need to add a camera. If you add a rotatable module, the increase in cost is not much to say, and it is more prone to dust and damage, and its practicability may not be great. Compared with Huawei and Samsung, this choice may be a bit inappropriate.

This kind of similar design is not the first time. In 20 13, OPPO N 1 can rotate the camera, but the difference is that it uses vertical rotation. So we don't know whether Xiaomi's new patent wants to go retro or just to occupy a place.

This patent picture is more than just exposure. Foreign media LetsGoDigital said that this phone is likely to be launched in the second half of this year. Xiaomi showed his folding screen mobile phone a year ago, but there has been no news since then, and rice noodles have been looking forward to it. If it really comes out, will you like it?
