1 In order to do a good job in patent award in Fujian Province, these detailed rules are formulated in accordance with the Measures for Patent Award in Fujian Province (hereinafter referred to as the Measures for Award).

2. These Rules are applicable to the declaration, recommendation, evaluation and award of patent awards in Fujian Province.

3. Fujian Patent Award is awarded to the patentee of China whose patent has produced remarkable economic and social benefits within the administrative area of Fujian Province. Foreign-invested enterprises and individuals from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan within the administrative area of Fujian Province may declare the Fujian Patent Award in accordance with the requirements of the incentive measures.

4. The declaration, recommendation, evaluation and award of Fujian patent awards shall follow the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality.
