In order to rationally allocate teaching resources and guide students to rationally choose majors, the school divides majors into Class A (strictly controlled majors) and Class B (non-strictly controlled majors) according to the distribution structure of majors and enrollment situation. Students who meet one of the following six types and conditions may apply for changing majors:

(1) Category I: Students from Grade One to Grade Two with excellent grades.

(II) Category II: Students who voluntarily participate in special school-running projects such as excellent engineer training projects and international cooperation and exchange projects in cooperation with Institute of Software of Chinese Academy of Sciences and are selected through the projects.

(3) The third category: students from Grade 2 to Grade 3 who really have the specialty and interest to change majors and can give full play to their specialty by changing majors. Won the third prize and above in the national discipline competition organized by the government department or the teaching guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education (ranking the top 3);

Or won the second prize and above in the provincial discipline competition organized by government departments (ranked in the top 2), or the first inventor was authorized by the national invention patent, and the students who obtained the results or awards showed special interest and expertise in the field to be transferred. Those who meet the following conditions can apply to transfer to the B-related major corresponding to their major:

The average GPA in the professional ranking reaches the top 30%; Or get the joint recommendation of 3 associate professors and above teachers in school-related majors.

(4) The fourth category: students who are not suitable for studying in the original major. Include: 1. Students who have difficulties in their original major (sufficient materials should be provided to explain the situation) and cannot continue to complete their original major learning tasks.

This kind of students can only transfer to major B. 2. Students who are found to have a certain disease or physical defect (except those who conceal their past history) have the original medical records and diagnosis certificates diagnosed by the secondary hospital designated by the school, and cannot study in the original major, but can continue to study in other majors. This kind of students can only transfer to major B.

(5) The fifth category: students who have retired and resumed their studies. Students who join the army and return to school after retirement can apply for changing their majors according to the Regulations on Resettlement of Retired Soldiers, the Measures for Recruiting Freshmen into the Army and Admission after Retirement in Colleges and Universities and other relevant national documents.

(VI) Category VI: Students who drop out of school to start businesses. Students who drop out of school to start a business can apply for a B major after resuming their studies. Applicants who change their major must not be absent from class or disqualified from the examination.

(1) Students who change majors study according to the training plan for talents who change majors, and the school examines their graduation and degree application qualifications according to the requirements for changing majors.

(2) The results of the courses that students took before changing majors will be truthfully recorded on the report card. When transferring to colleges and universities, the categories and credits of courses taken by students in the original major should be identified and converted according to the requirements of the talent training program of this major.

(3) If you need to choose a course to change your major, but you don't choose a course from the transferred major, or a similar course that has been selected but is lower than the required hours and credits, you need to choose a new course if you find that you can't meet the requirements of continuing your study. Re-registered courses are subject to a credit tuition system.

(4) When there is a big difference between the original major and the training plan for changing majors, and there are more make-up classes or credits (more than 20 credits for science and engineering and more than 25 credits for liberal arts), they must be downgraded.

(5) Students who apply for admission after the expiration of the retention qualification, students who apply for resumption of study after the expiration of suspension, students who apply for demotion due to academic reasons, and students who can't continue their studies in the original major due to suspension of the original major, are directly enrolled in similar majors with the approval of the principal in charge.
