Digital audio player is a device that can store, organize and play audio file formats. It is usually called MP3 player. Some formats will be merged with limited technology DRM, such as Janus and FairPlay, which are generally part of some paid download websites. Other formats, such as Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Speex, and Module file formats, are completely patent-free or open in other aspects.
Digital media player is a compact solid-state addressable network device, which can transmit digital signage content and corporate TV content to DMP display, which can be any TV screen or other type of display or projector directly connected to digital media player to display media information to viewers. DMP display can be analog display, digital display, standard definition display and high definition display.
