1, patent administrative cases, that is, taking the Patent Reexamination Board or the Patent Office as the defendant, including disputes over whether to grant the invention patent right, disputes over declaring the granted invention patent right invalid or maintaining the invention patent right, and disputes over compulsory licensing.

2. Patent infringement cases, that is, cases where the patentee or interested party files a lawsuit against the patent infringer, including cases of infringement of patent rights such as invention patents, utility model patents and designs.

3. Patent ownership dispute cases, that is, cases in which both parties to the patent right or patent application right dispute are the original and the defendant, including patent application right dispute cases and patent ownership dispute cases.

4, patent contract disputes, including patent transfer, patent application right transfer contract disputes and patent licensing contract disputes.

5. Other patent disputes, including disputes over the implementation of compulsory licensing fees, the granting of patent rights before the publication of patent applications, the use of inventions, utility models and designs.

In addition, China's courts also accept criminal cases such as counterfeiting other people's patents, which constitute the crime of counterfeiting other people's patents, and are sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention, with or without a fine.
