Causes of coral diversity in northern Amazon

Special environment. Amazon coral reef is a huge coral and sponge reef system, located on the coast of French Guiana and the Atlantic Ocean in northern Brazil. The reason of coral diversity in this area is the special environment, which is located at the mouth of tropical ocean, with small wind and waves, stable water flow, abundant sunshine and clean water quality. Its remains, together with the calcium carbonate bones of other creatures, are easy to form various coral reefs.
