The demonstration area will give full play to the advantages of land bridges and ports, build a multimodal transport system, and rely on platforms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (Lianyungang) International Logistics Park to build an all-round interconnected multimodal transport corridor. Created innovative practices such as "bonded+exported" containers in China-Europe trains and zero waiting for international trains, and "New Eurasian Continental Bridge Container Multimodal Transport Demonstration Project" was selected as a national demonstration project. In 2020, the sea-rail combined transport volume will exceed 600,000 TEUs, and the Haihe combined transport volume will reach 52,000 TEUs, both increasing by more than 50% year-on-year. Invest 4 billion yuan to build the "Belt and Road" supply chain base project and build a 7000-kilometer commodity supply chain channel from Lianyungang to Caspian Sea.
