DJI launches new drone M600, but does it solve safety issues?

The M600 is an integrated flight platform created by DJI for professional film and television aerial photography. It integrates the A3 flight control system and Lightbridge 2 high-definition digital image transmission. It can be adapted to the Ronin-MX and is compatible with it. DJI Zenmuse series gimbals and cameras. The M600 is a new integrated flight platform created by DJI for professional film and television aerial photography and industry applications. The lightweight designed fuselage is equipped with an all-weather large-load power system and integrates a new generation of accurate and reliable A3 flight control system and Lightbridge 2 high-definition digital image transmission. The M600 adopts an intelligent flight battery pack and battery management system, and provides a wealth of expansion interfaces. It also supports high-precision D-RTK GNSS and ground station systems, bringing performance, reliability and control experience to a new level.

The M600 adopts a modular design, making assembly and use quick and easy. The efficient power system integrates dustproof and active cooling functions, and provides a maximum payload of 6.0kg. M600 is not only compatible with DJI Zenmuse series gimbals, but also fully supports Ronin-MX and DJI wireless follow focus. When mounting various mirrorless cameras, SLRs, and even RED Epic movie cameras, photographers can remotely adjust the lens focus and aperture.

Provides ultra-long battery life and long-distance, low-latency high-definition real-time image and control signal transmission capabilities of up to 5 kilometers*. It uses 6 independent smart batteries and a comprehensive battery management system. Turning on or off any battery can affect all batteries, monitor battery status in real time, provide battery abnormal status reminders and ensure the safe landing of the aircraft. While achieving ultra-long battery life, it can also solve the problems of complex use and maintenance, low safety and difficulty in portability of traditional large-capacity battery solutions.

The M600 integrates a new professional-grade A3 flight control system and adopts intelligent ESCs with sinusoidal drive technology to provide efficient, reliable and precise flight performance. The built-in flight parameter adaptive function enables parameter adjustment under different loads, making it convenient and easy to use. It supports 3 sets of GNSS+IMU A3 Pro redundant system or high-precision D-RTK GNSS*, which greatly improves flight reliability, effectively eliminates the impact of magnetic interference and provides centimeter-level positioning accuracy to meet the application needs of various professional-level industries.

We do not recommend mounting Ronin-MX to other flight platforms other than the M600, because the Ronin-MX only supports communication with the A3 flight control. Ronin-MX has the best stability when used with Matrices M600.
