Garden engineers need to be evaluated for professional titles. There are four levels in this profession, namely: Landscape Designer (National Vocational Qualification Level 4), Assistant Landscape Designer (National Vocational Qualification Level 3), Landscape Designer (National Vocational Qualification Level 3), Designer (National Vocational Qualification Level 2), Senior Landscape Architect (National Vocational Qualification Level 1).
Note: The examination levels for this profession are: Level 3 and Level 4. In terms of greening: flower gardening (beginner, intermediate, advanced); greening (beginner, intermediate, advanced, technician, senior technician) each stage has a two-year working limit.
Professional titles: Landscaping Maintenance Engineer, Landscaping Designer, Landscaping Budgeter, Interior Greening Decorator (will be piloted in Shanghai soon).
High-end aspects: landscape designers, floral environment designers (new professional standards), landscaping engineers, garden engineers (assistant engineers, engineers, senior engineers).
Basic conditions for professional title review:
1. Assistant engineer: two years of college graduation, one year of bachelor’s degree, and one year of master’s degree;
2 , Engineer: Served as an assistant for 4 years with a college degree and worked for 7 years, 4 years as an assistant with a bachelor's degree, 2 years as an assistant with a master's degree, or graduated with a doctorate;
3. Senior Engineer: Intermediate with a college degree Those who have worked for 5 years or more and have worked for 18 years or so, have worked as an intermediate level for more than 5 years with a bachelor's degree, have worked as an intermediate level for a full 5 years with a master's degree, and have worked as an intermediate level for two years with a doctorate.
There is an opportunity to apply for professional titles once a year. Application materials are generally uploaded from April to September, and reviewed by judges from June to December. Results will be available at the beginning of the second year. The entire process takes about a year. What is mentioned here does not include the time for preparing materials and various certificates. If you want to publish papers and apply for patents, you need to start preparations in advance.
