Second, scallops are cold-water shellfish. If the water temperature exceeds 23℃ for a long time, it may die. Therefore, the culture technology of Chlamys farreri is also different from Chlamys farreri. According to the data of Changdao County Fisheries Bureau, the key points of aquaculture technology are as follows:
(1) The seedlings with an average shell height of 2.4 cm are temporarily raised to about 4 cm, and the temporary raising density is 80- 100 per layer.
(2) 30-40 plants per layer in the early stage, 18-22 plants per layer in the middle stage and 8- 10 plants per layer in the later stage.
(3) It is not advisable to move the cage for scallop culture during high temperature. Otherwise, it is easy to cause a large number of deaths.
(4) The survival rate of different culture methods is quite different. The method of floating raft frame and sinking raft frame with long rope makes the raft frame in deep water, and the cage shakes slightly in the wind and waves, so the living environment is relatively stable and the survival rate is high. The method of fixed floating and unsinkable raft frame is adopted. The raft frame is close to the water surface, the cage swings greatly in the wind and waves, and scallops roll with the waves in the cage, which often causes a large number of deaths.
