[Autohome? Industry] At the Huawei Full Connectivity Conference held recently, Huawei elaborated on its full-scenario intelligent connectivity solution and released its autonomous driving network solution ADN (Autonomous? Driving?) for enterprises. Network), helping enterprise networks move towards the era of autonomous driving and accelerating the intelligent upgrade of the industry. The autonomous driving network solution (ADN) proposed by Huawei needs to be implemented through an open architecture of three layers of AI: cloud + AI, network + AI, and network element + AI. Specifically, the cloud AI platform will integrate telecom AI knowledge assets, quickly develop AI models, and synchronize the AI ??models to the network management and control layer; Network + AI will introduce an AI reasoning framework, and the network management and control unit will convert business intentions into scenario-based solutions , and is deployed and implemented at the device layer; while network element + AI uses built-in AI chips and sensors to make the network perceptible in real time, achieving data collection acceleration and fast AI inference at the edge. The problem that the entire solution is intended to solve lies in the multiple complexities of business, operation and maintenance, and connections. This includes complex services supported by networks such as drones, cars, AR/VR... from B2C to B2C, B2X; from 4G to 5G, 2-3-4-5? Four generations under one roof, more than ten types of networks Protocols, thousands of network features and tens of thousands of configuration parameters bring operational complexity, as well as complex data connections and exchanges brought by hundreds or thousands of times increased connection data volume. Ultimately, the mature application of this system can improve many aspects. For example, scenario-based APIs and open programmability are used to improve the efficiency of operation and maintenance application integration; network traffic prediction models are generated through AI training to improve network resource utilization efficiency; network load predictions and energy consumption models for base stations and data centers are generated through AI training to improve Energy efficiency, thereby achieving the ultimate goal of improving user experience.
Editor’s comment: During this conference, Huawei Managing Director Wang Tao not only mentioned the autonomous driving network solution ADN, but also elaborated on the future of full-scenario intelligent connection solutions. This makes people think of Huawei's recent series of actions in continuously promoting intelligence, such as the autonomous driving patent announced on July 10, the autonomous driving platform based on artificial intelligence chips, and the lidar under development. Huawei's continuous research in the field of intelligent driving is indeed impressive. It turns out that it does more than just make mobile phones. (Text/Auto Home? Ding Bojun)
