According to the requirements of China's national standard GB23254-2009 "Reflective Signs for Trucks and Trailers" and the requirements of China's compulsory certification, the body reflective stickers sold by 3M Company in China include two grades, I and II, and three product series, all of which have passed the national 3C certification.
In Europe, 3M reflective logo has obtained the European standard certification, that is, E-MARK certification; In the United States, 3M reflective logo obtained DOT certification. 3M company uses micro-prism reflective film to make reflective signs, and the reflective principle of micro-prism reflective film is different from that of glass beads and high-strength reflective film used in engineering.
The characteristic of 3M microprism technology is that after the microprisms are connected and arranged, there will be more than 930 microcrystal cubes in a square centimeter of material area. The lower layer of the microcrystalline cube is sealed to form an air layer, so that the incident light is totally reflected for three times to form a reverse reflection (that is, the reflected light is reflected back along the direction of the incident light), and the reflection effect can be achieved without the help of a metal reflection layer.
The front brightness of 3M reflective logo is more than 6 times that of engineering grade and 3 times that of high strength grade.
