Commonly used freon refrigerants are R 12, R22, R502 and R 134 1a, but other types of refrigerants have been stopped or banned. I won't explain it here.
Freon 12(CF2CL2, R 12): It is one of the most widely used refrigerants in Freon, mainly used in small and medium-sized food warehouses, household refrigerators, water and road refrigeration transportation and other refrigeration devices. R 12 has good thermal performance and low refrigeration pressure. The air cooling or natural condensation pressure is about 0.8- 1.2KPa, and the standard evaporation temperature of R 12 is -29℃, so it is a medium temperature refrigerant. It can be used in small and medium-sized piston compressors to obtain a low temperature of -70℃. For large centrifugal compressor, the low temperature of -80℃ can be obtained. In recent years, the alternative refrigerant of refrigerator is R 134a.
22(CHF2CL (R22): It is one of the most widely used freon refrigerants, mainly used in household air conditioners and low-temperature refrigerators. The thermodynamic performance of R22 is similar to that of ammonia. The standard gasification temperature is -40.8℃, and the condensation pressure usually does not exceed 1.6MPa. R22 is non-combustible and non-explosive, so it is safer and more reliable than ammonia in use. The unit volume of R22 is about 60% higher than that of R 12, and the refrigeration capacity and saturation pressure at low temperature are higher than that of R 12 and ammonia water. In recent years, R 134a is mostly used to replace the refrigerant of large air conditioning chillers.
Freon 502 (r502): r502 is a * * * boiling solution, which is composed of R1.2% and R22 with percentages of 5/kloc-0 and 48.8%. Compared with R 1 15 and R22, R502 has better thermodynamic properties and is more suitable for low temperature. The standard evaporation temperature of R502 is -45.6℃, and the normal working pressure is similar to R22. Under the same working conditions, the refrigerating capacity per unit volume is greater than R22, but the exhaust temperature is lower than R22. R502 is used in totally enclosed, semi-enclosed or some medium and small refrigeration devices, and its evaporation temperature can be as low as -55℃. R502 is widely used in refrigerators.
Freon 134a(C2H2F4, R 134a) is a relatively new refrigerant, and its evaporation temperature is -26.5℃. Its main thermodynamic properties are similar to those of R 12, and it will not destroy the ozone layer in the air. It is an environmentally friendly refrigerant advocated in recent years, but it will cause greenhouse effect. It is an ideal alternative refrigerant for R 12.
Environmental protection refrigerants generally have the following types.
R- 134a (tetrafluoroethane) refrigerant. ※
R 134a is one of the main refrigerants recognized internationally to replace R 12. It is often used in automobile air conditioning, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, as a foaming agent in the production of hard plastic insulation materials, and can also be used to prepare other mixed refrigerants, such as R404A and R407C.
Main uses: mainly replacing R 12 as refrigerant, widely used in automobile air conditioning and refrigerator refrigeration.

R-410a refrigerant ※

Main uses: R4 10A is mainly used to replace R22 and R502. It is clean, low toxic, non-flammable and has good refrigeration effect. Widely used in household air conditioners, small commercial air conditioners and household central air conditioners.

R-407c refrigerant ※

R 417a refrigerant ※

R-404a refrigerant ※

Physical and chemical properties: R23 (trifluoromethane, Freon 23), boiling point at atmospheric pressure -82. 1℃, freezing point-155.2℃, liquid density (25℃)0.67kg/L, critical density 0.525kg/L, critical pressure 4.83 MPa, consumption.
Main uses: Trifluoromethane, also known as HFC-23, is a high-pressure liquefied vapor, which can replace CFC- 13 as refrigerant. At the same time, it is an ideal substitute for halon 130 1, which has the characteristics of cleanliness, low toxicity and good extinguishing agent effect.
