Appearance aspect
The front of the new car uses a special Raytheon hammer headlight group, which is of course closer to the style on the EX90. Both of them have complex matrix T-shaped light sources, which can show a strong sense of ritual when turned on or off. The front part of the car adopts a square shape, and the curved decorative strips are led out under the headlights to further enhance the layering. The front bumper has a multi-level trapezoidal lower grille, which effectively enhances the sense of movement and has certain endurance.
On the side of the car body, the new car has the iconic native pure electric platform style, with short front and rear suspension, long wheelbase and small size. The overall proportion is very similar to that of polar krypton X, but it is more square, showing the identity built on the same platform. Of course, the car uses the same technology, which is equivalent to changing the shell and changing the label. On this basis, elements such as large-size black outline, thick doors, especially slightly dropped roofs, and thick C-pillar intersections are not absent, showing enough fashion sense.
In the rear part, the taillights of the new car have also been partially exposed, which is consistent with the previous patent drawings. The main part is annular, with a C-shaped red light strip running through the center, but the left and right sides of the upper and rear windows are supplemented by red light strips, which shows a good sense of design. The trunk line is relatively straight, and it is also the most stable one among the four brothers, which conforms to Volvo's basic design concept. Of course, there will be no exposed exhaust in the rear bumper, which reflects the attitude that a pure electric vehicle should have.
In the interior part, the new car adopts the design concept of double large-size floating LCD screens, and the central control panels are arranged vertically, which is basically the same as the EX90, more like a reduced version of the latter. Compared with the previous generation Volvo models, the sense of technology and grade has been greatly improved, but there is not much information about power at present. However, because the car is built on the same platform as the Krypton X and Smart models, it is very likely to use a 272-horsepower rear single motor to get started, and the high-equipped models use 428-horsepower dual motors to form the powertrain of the electronically controlled four-wheel drive system, which has good performance.
