By the end of 20 19 and 10, our school has created many firsts in the history of science and technology in China: the first TV transmitter and receiver, the first two-stage solid high-altitude detection rocket, the first light tank, the first low-altitude altimeter radar and the first 20-kilometer long-range camera. As of 20 19 and 10, since the 12th Five-Year Plan, the school has applied for 5 155 patents and granted 2,804 patents. In 20 16 years, the number of patent applications exceeded 1000 for the first time. In 20 17 years, the number of patent applications reached 1303, and the authorized amount reached 92 1.
