Window patent

The modern shutter was invented by an American named John Hampson, and was patented on August 2 184 1. The invention of Band-Aids In the early 20th century, Mrs. El Dixon just got married and had no cooking experience. She often cuts her hand or burns herself in the kitchen. At that time, El Dixon worked in a company that produced surgical bandages, and he soon became proficient in dressing his wife. He thought it would be nice to have a bandage. When his wife was injured and no one helped her, she could dress it herself. So he began to do experiments. He thought that if gauze and bandage were made together, he could dress the wound with one hand. He took a piece of gauze and put it on the table, coated it with glue, then folded another piece of gauze into a gauze pad and put it in the middle of the bandage. But there is a problem. The adhesive used to make this bandage will dry if it is exposed to air for a long time. Dixon tried many different fabrics to cover the tape, hoping to find a material that is not difficult to peel off when needed. Later, he found that a coarse gauze could accomplish this task well. When Mrs Dixon cut her hand again, she took off the coarse gauze and put the bandage invented by her clever husband on the wound. Dixon invented this ready-made bandage, which enabled him to use it in J&: J (Johnson Company, Johnson &; Johnson) company developed. Mr. Kennon, the director of the factory, named it a band-aid. Band means bandage, and Aid means to help first aid. Future, J &;; J Company took Band-Aid as the name of various first-aid and surgical bandage products, and later became synonymous with bandages.
