After the formal examination is passed, the substantive examination is conducted, that is, whether the trademark applied for registration meets the conditions stipulated in the Trademark Law is examined, and a decision on registration or rejection is made according to the substantive examination.
After the examiner thinks that the trademark application can be accepted, he will publish an announcement on the official Russian trademark announcement. During this period, anyone can object to the trademark application documents. The trademark documents passed by the objection ruling, or the trademark documents without objection, shall be approved and registered, and the Trademark Registration Certificate shall be issued to the trademark applicant.
