First of all, UHP bulbs
UHP is a patented technology invented by Philips, which belongs to ultra-high pressure mercury lamp bulb. Ideal cold light source, generally used in high-end projectors. Small size, under the same power consumption, it can generate a lot of light, effectively inhibiting the occurrence of flicker.
Its weight is only 4 kg, its volume is less than 2 liters, it is easy to carry, and its screen illumination exceeds 1 100 lumens, which can reach the bright XGA display level.
Features: long life, high price, low power consumption, light weight, high brightness and low calorific value.
Second, UHE bulbs
UHE bulb is a cold light source and an ideal light source widely used in mid-range projectors. It will hardly decay before 2000 hours of use. UHE bulbs use optical principle to filter out infrared rays, emit cold light, and the heat is relatively small, which can effectively reduce the power consumption of projectors. In the environment-friendly brightness mode, the noise is only 28dB, providing users with a quiet atmosphere. After closing the lens cover for 20 minutes, the projector will automatically turn off, which can effectively save power consumption. The running power consumption is only 275W, achieving an ultra-high energy efficiency ratio.
Features: moderate price, long service life, stable brightness, low noise and energy saving.
Third, metal halogen lamps.
Metal halogen lamps produce warm light, which requires high power to obtain the same brightness as UHP lamps. The half-life is short, and the brightness will be reduced to about half after about 65,438+0,000 hours of use. But also has high calorific value, high requirements on the cooling system of the projector, and is not suitable for long-term projection.
Features: low price, short life and high calorific value.
Four, xenon lamp
Xenon lamp is a kind of light source that generates arc by discharging between positive and negative electrodes. Because of its high technical content and high price, it is only used for high-end projectors at present. Because the spectrum of xenon lamp is closest to natural light, it can provide better colors than other light sources. Compared with UHP bulb, xenon lamp has the advantage that it can be turned on and off at any time, and can be turned on again immediately after being turned off, which is impossible for other projector bulbs in the past.
Features: high technology, high price, excellent color and fast operation.
