Around the leaping development strategy of science and technology, the park has built eight national-level scientific and technological achievements transformation bases: National Electronic Information Industry Base, Torch Program Software Industry Base, China Software Export to Europe and America Pilot Project Base, National Animation Industry Base, National Integrated Circuit Industrial Park, Torch Program Auto Parts Industry Base, National Service Outsourcing Demonstration Base and Nanotechnology International Innovation Park.

Nearly 50 venture capital institutions and guarantee institutions were introduced into the park, and Suzhou Venture Capital Group Co., Ltd. was established, forming a financial support system integrating angel investment, venture capital and industrial investment and financing guarantee. Suzhou Industrial Park is the first intellectual property pilot park in Jiangsu Province.
