From June 5438 to February 2003, with the approval of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education, Wuhan University of Technology, a university directly under the Ministry of Education, cooperated with Huaxia College of Wuhan University of Technology, an ordinary institution of higher learning with independent legal personality.
