1. configuration and comparison of welding power supply forms of automatic welding equipment
one of the key factors of weld quality is the configuration of welding power supply. At present, there are four kinds of power configuration or welding methods inside and outside the enclosure. In order to select the best one, we have made a comparative analysis.
(1)CO2 gas protection power supply (melting electrode) uses CO2 gas for protection.
Advantages: CO2 gas is low in price, high in production efficiency, high in welding current density, deep in welding pool, high in melting efficiency, fast in deposition speed, 2-4 times higher in production efficiency than manual welding, and good in rust resistance and crack resistance;
Disadvantages: When welding with high current, the welding surface is poorly formed and spattered, and the spatter stuck on the workpiece needs to be removed manually after welding.
(2)MIG gas shielded welding (melting electrode), using argon as protection.
advantages: deep welding pool, stable welding arc, good weld formation and high production efficiency;
Disadvantages: argon gas is used as shielding gas to realize the welding process, and the price of argon gas is high, and the price of MIG welding power supply is 3 ~ 4 times more expensive than that of CO2/MAG welding power supply.
(3)MAG gas shielded welding power source (melting electrode). Using argon and CO2 mixed gas protection, in which argon is 8% and CO2 is 2%.
advantages: deep welding pool, high deposition efficiency, small welding spatter, stable welding process and beautiful weld seam.
(4) TIG gas shielded power supply (non-melting electrode) is protected by argon gas. This kind of welding power source is commonly used (manual TIG welding).
Advantages: Because the electrode only heats the workpiece by current, the workpiece and the welding wire form a molten pool, so there is no spatter, and the weld is beautiful;
Disadvantages: shallow arc pool depth, low deposition rate and low production efficiency. Because the welding process is all protected by argon gas, the price is high.
2. composition and working principle of automatic welding equipment
(1) composition of automatic welding equipment:
automatic welding equipment consists of guide rail bed, rotary turntable, pneumatic tail jacking sliding table mechanism, rotary mechanism, workpiece clamping mechanism, intermediate material supporting mechanism, special plane welding gun pneumatic adjusting mechanism, three-dimensional fine adjusting mechanism of welding gun, welding gun clamping mechanism, pneumatic tail jacking and special plane electric control system.
(2) Working principle of automatic welding equipment:
The rotating end is used to clamp the workpiece, and the other end is pressed against the workpiece. The principle that the double-headed CO2 welding torch is relatively stationary is matched with the CO2/MAG welding power supply to realize the circumferential seam welding of the workpiece.
(3) Scope of application of automatic welding equipment
① It is suitable for straight or girth welding of carbon steel and stainless steel valve bodies and flanges.
② The minimum diameter of straight seam/circular seam is 25mm, and the maximum diameter is 12mm.
③ The maximum length of weldment of valve body and flange assembly is 36mm, and the maximum diameter of flange is 26mm.
④ The maximum weight of the workpiece is 45kg, and the maximum turning diameter of the machine tool is 45 mm..
