Liu Fang's Role Career

1996 graduated from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Chinese University of Hong Kong with a doctorate. He is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor and vice president of the School of Life Sciences; Member of the Steering Committee of Experimental Teaching in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, Director chinese society for microbiology, and Chairman of Tianjin Microbiology Society.

At present, he has been teaching at Nankai University for more than twenty years. During this period, he conducted postdoctoral research and training in the Department of Biochemistry, School of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tokyo Institute of Medicine, Japan. In scientific research, he has presided over many national and municipal natural science foundation projects, with many doctoral and master students. We have been engaged in the study of natural drug activity, and extracted many active components from mushrooms and plants, such as antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-HIV and hypoglycemic, and discussed their mechanism of action at the tissue, cell and molecular levels, and established a rapid screening model. More than 50 papers have been published, of which more than 30 have been included in SCI and 2 have applied for patents. In teaching, he has undertaken microbiology for undergraduates, biotechnology and pharmacy foundation for postgraduates and regulation of eukaryotic gene expression.

2 first prizes for teaching achievements; He won two first prizes for school-level teaching achievements of Nankai University and participated in the compilation and translation of two books.
