WuzhouUniversity, located in Wuzhou City, Guangxi, is a multi-disciplinary local full-time undergraduate college founded by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Wuzhou City. Supported by Guangxi University, it was selected into the National "Hundred Schools Project".
The college, formerly known as Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University, was founded in 1985. In June 2003, Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University merged with Wuzhou Education College and Wuzhou Normal School to form a new Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University. In February 2006, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Wuzhou College on the basis of Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University.
