Is the rural sewage treatment station suitable to be built underground?

At present, what we are pursuing is only beauty, environmental protection and green area. So some sewage treatment stations build all the process packages of sewage treatment equipment underground, and the ground is green. The advantage of this method is beautiful, but the disadvantage is obviously that it is not convenient for management and later maintenance.

In an opinion on the prospect and development of rural sewage treatment, we can see that there are mainly the following problems in rural sewage treatment: 1, sewage collection is difficult and investment is large, especially in scattered administrative villages; 2. There are many and chaotic sewage treatment processes, and different manufacturers will have their own process packages or patents; 3. There is a serious shortage of rural sewage operation and management personnel, and there are still many problems to be solved in unattended sewage treatment stations.

From these problems, we can find that the focus of rural sewage is not the process route, but the later operation and management. Personally, from the perspective of operation and management, rural sewage treatment stations are not suitable to be built underground for the following reasons:

If it is built underground, if it is to be maintained and managed, it is necessary to empty the tank and let people go down for maintenance. Due to the small scale of rural sewage treatment station, small tank and small maintenance space, it is very difficult to maintain;

At present, many integrated equipments adopt Q235 material, which increases the corrosion rate and shortens the service life of the equipment.

At present, one of the biggest problems in rural sewage treatment is that the operation and maintenance personnel can't keep up (second, it is difficult to collect sewage). If it is built underground and there is no professional operation and maintenance personnel, it will be more difficult to maintain sewage treatment equipment.

The author thinks that the underground rural sewage treatment station does not meet the actual needs of rural sewage treatment. Many cases have proved that rural sewage treatment stations built underground cannot operate normally after several years. The construction of rural sewage treatment station should be on the ground (at least the main equipment) and placed where people can see it.

As for beauty, we should consider it from the aspect of standardization construction. Even if there is not much greening (not bad in rural areas), isn't orderly standardization a kind of beauty? It is recommended to know the rural sewage comprehensive treatment station (MBR equipment)
