Patent Document Publishing House, now renamed: Intellectual Property Publishing House, was founded in 1980. The supervisor and sponsor is the former National Patent Office. It is one of the earliest departments established by the China Patent Office and is a patent document publishing house. It is a statutory publishing unit and has been approved by the State Press and Publication Administration to become a national publishing house and electronic publishing unit.
