Achievements of the State Key Laboratory of Traction Power (Southwest Jiaotong University)
With the strong support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Railways and Southwest Jiaotong University, the laboratory has made achievements in the construction of experimental platform. As an engineering laboratory, the laboratory attaches importance to equipment construction and independently develops a set of locomotive and rolling stock test and research equipment. Including a number of important test equipment, such as rolling vibration test-bed for railway vehicles, comprehensive parameter test-bed for railway vehicles, 12 channel fatigue test-bed, railway vehicle development platform software VirtualMBS, train and line system dynamic simulation and safety assessment TTIS- 1, damping device research and development system, high-speed wheel-rail friction test-bed, driving safety detection system, wireless detection system, pantograph-catenary hybrid simulation test-bed and so on. In addition, the laboratory also purchased some advanced materials testing equipment and analysis and calculation software, such as 25t high-frequency fatigue testing machine, four-axis rotary bending and four-axis tensile fatigue testing machine, SIMPACK/ADAMS/ANSYS/ABQUIUS and other commercial software. Through nearly 20 years of construction, the laboratory has more than 600 pieces (sets) of equipment, the big ones weigh hundreds of tons, and the small ones are only a few grams. There are many kinds, involving machinery, power electronics, testing, hydraulics, computer systems and other aspects, and the equipment funds reach 76.2 million yuan. The laboratory covers an area of 1000 square meters, including an experimental hall of 72m×24m, with good office conditions. Professors have independent offices, and all graduate students also have desks. In order to facilitate the entry and exit of the locomotives and vehicles under inspection, the laboratory has also built a special railway line 1 .4km long, which is a CNAL unit of the laboratory. In 2007, the laboratory successfully hosted and applied for the National Key Basic Research and Development Plan (973) "Research on Key Basic Issues of Safe Service of High-speed Trains", which became the first 973 Plan with a budget of 35 million yuan in the field of rail transit in China. During 20001-2009, the laboratory presided over and researched 9 national "863" projects, 37 national natural science foundation projects and 4 national outstanding youth science funds. In addition, he has presided over more than 200 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological development projects and five national scientific and technological progress awards. In 2009 alone, the laboratory won two national science and technology progress awards and the first prize of 1 Sichuan science and technology progress award. In addition, in recent ten years, the laboratory has published nearly a thousand papers as the first unit, including more than 450 papers retrieved by SCI and EI. He has published more than ten monographs, authorized 40 invention patents and more than 73 utility model patents.
