Audi patent virtual rearview mirror application

Audi, one of the three giants of BBA, has always had the reputation of "lighting factory", and its beautiful texture and lighting effect can be seen from the lighting configuration of its models. But this time, Audi played a big game and set a precedent in his best field. At the 20 19 Los Angeles Auto Show, Audi's new car e-tron Sportback took the headlights to a new height. You can learn about the million-pixel headlights of "watching movies"!

Appearance size

The overall style of Audi e-tron Sportback is based on e-tron, which adopts a sliding back body design, and the front fog lamp is changed to a large concave design, and matte silver chrome decoration is added. S-Line kit and 20-inch windmill rim make the new car have many highlights. The length, width and height of the car body are 4901*1935 *1616mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2928mm.

The megapixel digital matrix LED headlamp mentioned above is projected by 654.38+00000 digital micromirror devices in the lamp group. Although it shows similar concepts such as Mercedes-Benz and WEY, it is still mass-produced by Audi. The side waistline is sharp. Thanks to the shrinking shape of the tail, the virtual exterior rearview mirror composed of cameras brings a drag coefficient of 0.25 to the car body, and at the same time increases the cruising range by about 10km.

Internal configuration

The interior style is similar to that of Audi e-tron. The center console is biased towards the driver's seat, with three large LCD screens. The unique steering wheel design also adds chrome trim. The seats are also comfortable, but unfortunately there is a loss of head space in the back row.

Power chassis

Audi e-tron Sportback adopts quattro four-wheel drive system, with one motor at the front and one motor at the rear, and no transmission shaft and differential, which can distribute the front and rear power output more flexibly. Under normal circumstances, the rear wheel drive, when the road adhesion conditions are insufficient or cornering, the front axle motor can intervene at any time and automatically distribute the front and rear power. The battery pack (95/7 1kWh) is located at the bottom of the car body, which reduces the center of gravity of the car body.

Audi e-tron Sportback offers two power options, the maximum power of 55 quattro is 265kW, the maximum torque is 561n m, and the cruising range is 446km. The 50 quattro has a maximum power of 230kW, a maximum torque of 540n·m and a cruising range of 347km. Chassis suspension adopts front double wishbone independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension. Almost all suspension parts are made of aluminum alloy, which fully ensures the demand of lightweight car body.
