The laboratory has the first domestic tunnel boring machine laboratory funded by the National 863 Program, the Key Laboratory of Shield and Tunneling Technology in Henan Province, the Professional Committee of Tunnel Boring Machine and the Institute of Tunnel Equipment. Zhejiang University has the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Transmission and Control, China Railway Engineering Corporation and Beijing Jiaotong University have experimental research centers and laboratories for tunnel and underground engineering, and Luoyang Bearing Research Institute has the National Center for Bearing Quality Supervision and Inspection, the Research Center for High-speed Precision Bearing Engineering in Mechanical Industry, the Military Bearing Technology Development Center, the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Rolling Bearings and the Technical Committee of China Bearing Industry Association.
The laboratory has made a number of high-level original research achievements in cutter head design, composite shield development, foam system development, cutter head frequency conversion drive system development, etc., which has formed distinctive research characteristics and generally has the conditions for establishing a national key laboratory. After years of construction, the laboratory has an academic echelon with great influence in academic circles at home and abroad, a number of advanced modern instruments and equipment and a perfect R&D test platform, which has formed distinctive research characteristics and has now become a base for high-level scientific research, personnel training and high-tech development in the field of shield and tunnel technology.
Our laboratory has long been engaged in the research and technical development of shield equipment and tunneling technology. In recent years, * * 35 1 scientific research achievements have passed the evaluation, appraisal and acceptance of enterprises or provincial and ministerial science and technology departments, including 2 international advanced levels, 32 international advanced levels, 63 domestic advanced levels and 5 1 domestic advanced levels. Won the National Science and Technology Progress Award 10 (including the grand prize 1 item), 2 Zoomlion Cup Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Awards, and 76 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards.
In the field of shield technology, we have obtained 9 national invention patents and 6 utility model patents 16, forming a number of scientific research achievements with independent intellectual property rights. The laboratory is responsible for compiling the national standards and industry standards in the field of shield technology in China. In recent three years, 1 national shield technology standard, 2 industry standards and 5 enterprise standards have been formulated. These achievements have been well applied in the process of shield manufacturing and tunnel construction.
Major scientific research projects undertaken in recent five years:
(1) "Research on Composite Shield and Tunneling Technology in Complex Environment with Soft and Hard Uneven Strata" won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2006.
(2) In 2005, the Ministry of Railways scientific research project "Research on waterproof and drainage construction technology and detection technology of railway tunnels" was accepted by the Ministry of Railways in 2007;
(3) In 2005, the Ministry of Railways scientific research project "Research on supporting technology of rapid construction machinery and equipment for plateau extra-long railway tunnels" was accepted by the Ministry of Railways in 2007;
(4) The scientific research project of the Ministry of Railways, "Experimental Research on Key Technologies of Yuanliangshan Tunnel on Huai Yu Line", won the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Henan Province in 2007 and the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Railway Society in 2008;
(5) The research project of the Ministry of Railways "Research on the Technology of Composite Shield Tunneling and Docking of Shiziyang Underwater Tunnel" is under way, and some phased research results have been completed, forming a phased summary report;
(6) The scientific research project of Ministry of Railways "Study on Comprehensive Technology of Beijing Underground Diameter Line Construction under Complex Geological Environment" is under way, and some phased research results have been completed;
(7) The national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" scientific and technological support project "Research and application of some key technologies of South-to-North Water Diversion Project (research on key technical problems of tunnel boring machine construction in the west line)" was signed in 2008, and the project is in progress.
