The LNG receiving station is equipped with a special wharf for LNG ships to berth and unload. The storage tank is used to hold the liquefied natural gas unloaded from the LNG ship. The regasification unit heats the liquefied natural gas to turn it into gas, and then transports it to the end users through pipelines. The cold energy released by LNG during regasification can be comprehensively utilized. Generally speaking, about 25% of cold energy can be used. On the whole, the film LNG carrier is superior to MOSS in ship performance, but MOSS has operational advantages such as less cargo loading restrictions, and MOSS has greater advantages in early LNG transportation.
According to the different insulation types and construction methods, the cargo hold of film ship is divided into GTT 96 type and Mark ⅲ type, and the insulation form of GTT 96 type is insulation box; Sign ⅲ ⅲ is composed of insulating board and rigid insulating material. Domestic Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. successfully built the LNG carrier No.96 No.96 has higher requirements on hull construction technology than Mark III. No matter in precision control or welding requirements, we have mastered the construction requirements of No.96 and basically mastered the construction technology of Mark III.
In the invar welding of the main and second floors of cargo hold, No.96 can use a large number of automatic welding, and the welding quality is easy to control, while Markⅲⅲ has more manual welding, and the welding quality is difficult to control. After 1980s, as Japan and South Korea became the first and second largest importers of LNG in the world, Japanese and South Korean shipyards successively introduced the construction technology and patents of independent tanks and membrane ships from European shipyards and LNG ship patent companies, and started to build LNG ships in the early 1980s and early 1990s respectively. With the increase in the number of LNG ships built by Japanese and Korean shipyards, the share of LNG ships built by European and American shipyards in the LNG ship market is gradually decreasing. From 200 1 to the end of 2006 1, 55 of all 89 LNG ships built in this period were built by Korean shipyards, 28 by Japanese shipyards and the remaining 6 by European shipyards. Facts have proved that the LNG ship construction center has been transferred from Europe and America to Asia.
The first LNG carrier in China was built by Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation. The ship started construction on February 65438+2004, berthed on June 28, 2005, and berthed on February 28, the same year. It is expected to be delivered in early 2008. The LNG tank built by CSSC has a volume of147200m3, a length of 292m, a width of 43.35m and a depth of 26.35m, and a design speed of 19.5 nautical miles per hour.
