Shaanxi Tea Research Institute was jointly established by Shaanxi Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative, Shaanxi Cangshan Tea Industry Co., Ltd., and Xianyang Jingwei Fu Tea Co., Ltd. The institute is the first tea scientific research institution established in a tea enterprise in the northwest region. It has multiple functional areas such as physical and chemical analysis laboratory, biochemical laboratory, microbiology laboratory, process research laboratory, product research and development laboratory, etc. It is equipped with high-efficiency gas chromatography instrument, liquid chromatograph, UV-visible spectrophotometer, rotary evaporator, desktop high-speed refrigerated centrifuge, fully automatic biochemical incubator, fully automatic high-pressure steam sterilizer and other instruments, which provide a good foundation for scientific research, development and product innovation. platform.

The institute is led by professors Shi Zhaopeng and Wan Xiaochun, who are both authoritative in the domestic tea industry, as academic consultants, and professor Liu Zhonghua, a dark tea expert, as the honorary director and guides scientific research work.
