Shaanxi Tea Research Institute was jointly established by Shaanxi Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative, Shaanxi Cangshan Tea Industry Co., Ltd., and Xianyang Jingwei Fu Tea Co., Ltd. The institute is the first tea scientific research institution established in a tea enterprise in the northwest region. It has multiple functional areas such as physical and chemical analysis laboratory, biochemical laboratory, microbiology laboratory, process research laboratory, product research and development laboratory, etc. It is equipped with high-efficiency gas chromatography instrument, liquid chromatograph, UV-visible spectrophotometer, rotary evaporator, desktop high-speed refrigerated centrifuge, fully automatic biochemical incubator, fully automatic high-pressure steam sterilizer and other instruments, which provide a good foundation for scientific research, development and product innovation. platform.
The institute is led by professors Shi Zhaopeng and Wan Xiaochun, who are both authoritative in the domestic tea industry, as academic consultants, and professor Liu Zhonghua, a dark tea expert, as the honorary director and guides scientific research work. The institute currently has 9 full-time scientific research staff, including a Ph.D. There is one person with a degree and 8 people with a master's degree. The institute has also established scientific research collaboration relationships with several university research institutes such as Anhui Agricultural University, Hunan Agricultural University, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Shaanxi Agricultural Products Processing Research Institute. In-depth cooperation has been carried out in terms of ingredient separation and extraction, and the health functions of Fu tea.
The institute has established an academic committee, a technical committee, a research group on food safety and security of Fuzhuan tea, a research group on functional substances and health care mechanisms of Fuzhuan tea, a research and application group on innovative technology of Fuzhuan tea, and a research group on fu brick tea. The Brick Tea Deep Processing Research and Application Research Group focuses on basic applications and research such as new product development, all-round monitoring of product safety, and the introduction and application of new technologies. Since the establishment of the institute, it has compiled six issues of the industry publication "Shaanxi Tea Research Institute (Preparatory) News", published more than 10 research papers in core domestic journals, and applied for more than 20 patents, of which 8 patents were authorized. ; The "Innovative Research on Fu Brick Tea Production Technology" project won the second prize of the Municipal Science and Technology Award.
