Ultrasonic welding is an ideal choice for sealed packaging, because the welding seam is airtight and water-tight, and can even deal with contaminated areas, such as grease, liquid, fiber or powder. Another advantage of ultrasonic sealing is that no adhesive or solvent is needed, which means that some types of recycling can be carried out and cleaning can be omitted. Generally speaking, ultrasonic technology is very environmentally friendly, because the welding or stamping process is short, so the energy consumption is relatively low. In addition, very thin packaging materials can be used, which is beneficial to the production of packaging economically and ecologically.
