Established in 1975, the Institute of Marine Engineering Equipment of Drilling Technology Research Institute of Shengli Petroleum Administration Bureau was successively presided over by Academician Gu Xinyi, a famous domestic marine engineering expert, Professor Sun Dongchang, former senior expert and chief engineer of the oilfield, Director Wang Yunan, Director Zhang Jianbo, Professor Quan Wang, deputy chief engineer of the former institute, and Professor Zhang Shihua, now a senior expert and vice president of the Administration Bureau. The current director is Professor Tian, deputy chief engineer of the institute.
After more than 30 years of development, the Institute of Oceanography has a high comprehensive strength in the research and design of offshore oil exploration and development engineering equipment, offshore engineering simulation experiments, and offshore engineering testing services. In particular, the design capability of offshore platforms has reached the domestic advanced level. It has the design qualification of offshore oil exploration and development platform and device, submarine pipeline cable and submarine pipeline detection issued by CCS. Can independently complete the research and engineering design of various types of drilling platforms, oil production platforms, workover platforms and marine special equipment in shallow sea. There are 42 employees, including 5 doctors and 20 masters, with bachelor degree or above accounting for more than 90% of the total number. We have a complete technical team in terms of overall performance, structure, turbines, electrical equipment, deck machinery, petroleum special equipment, etc.
The Institute of Oceanography has three design rooms and a specialized marine engineering laboratory, with more than 30 sets of test equipment and instruments and more than 50 microcomputers. Scientific research and technical services have passed the QHSE management system certification. Ocean Engineering Laboratory has the only control system in China that can approximately simulate offshore tidal current. It can complete various hydrodynamic tests such as scouring, silting, wave prevention, defect detection, ups and downs, stress, movement and mooring of floating bodies such as ports, docks, dams, submarine pipelines and offshore platforms. , theoretical research and comparative analysis, to solve related problems in theory and engineering.
The Institute of Oceanography has undertaken the key projects of the National "863" High-tech Plan 12, major national equipment and key research projects of sinopec group 18. Obtained more than 40 patents at home and abroad, including 8 invention patents. Won 9 national awards such as National Invention Award and National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 17 ministerial awards. It has a certain influence in the field of domestic petroleum equipment research and has made important contributions to the exploration and development of Shengli shallow sea oilfield.
