What is the lock floor?
The lock floor (also called Yuanyang buckle) is a patented technology of Shandong Dingyuxuan Flooring (Patent No.: 200920155611.8). The buckle type is tightly combined , completely overcoming the problems of seams, warping, and bulging caused by the changes in cold, heat, dryness, and humidity caused by the outside world. During the paving process, nails, glue, and keels are completely eliminated, and the floor is laid directly on the ground, saving a lot of money. It is economical and practical, saving about 20 yuan per square meter in paving costs compared to conventional floors.
Tips for purchasing lock floors
Before purchasing lock floors, you may wish to pay attention to the following two precautions:
First, lock floors kind of. The laminate flooring sold on the market can be divided into single lock, triple lock and quadruple lock floors. The biggest feature of locking flooring is to prevent floor seams from cracking. The firmness, stability and durability of floor locks are mainly determined by the chamfer area and angle of the locks, processing accuracy, base material toughness and other factors. As long as the single lock buckle is properly constructed, it is enough to prevent the cracking of floor seams. The chamfer area and angle of multiple locks may not meet the ideal specifications, and such results may be counterproductive. The snap floor developed based on geometry and mechanics is an improvement on the multi-lock form of the existing composite floor. The joints of the floor are tight and fast, and it is not easy to fall off.
Second, pay attention to the scale of the lock floor manufacturer. Lock flooring has high requirements on production equipment, processing technology, base material performance, etc., which are generally not produced by small factories. Therefore, you should be more careful when purchasing and be careful not to be deceived by fake manufacturers.
Cleaning and maintenance of lock floors
How to clean and maintain lock floors properly? You may wish to refer to the following three points:
First, clean glue. The main purpose of applying glue when installing the lock floor is to prevent moisture. If glue is used during installation, the joints can be sealed, which plays a preventive role and adds a layer of insurance. Moreover, the lock design specifically leaves a glue cavity in the floor for glue to flow and solidify, which can accurately lock the floor in the designed position, reducing the possibility of seams becoming larger and edges warping, and improving the beauty and service life of the floor.
Second, avoid moisture. When maintaining the floor, you will definitely wipe it with a wet mop or rag. The board surface is fine, but the joints between the boards are easy for water to enter. Of course, there is no correlation if moisture enters several times, but our The floor will be used for many years. Repeated moisture entry will inevitably affect the service life of the floor and cause losses to consumers.
Third, matters needing attention in the construction process. Start paving from the corner of the wall first. Place the tongue side of the board against the wall, leaving a 10mm gap between the wall and the short side of the board. Then align the next board at an angle with the short side of the first board. Place the board flat on the ground while pressing it forward firmly. Complete the installation of the first row in the same way. The final piece of flooring should be cut to a suitable length, leaving a 10mm gap between it and the wall. Start the installation of the next row with the remaining boards (longer than at least 300mm). Then align the tongue edge of the first board of the new row with the groove of the previous row to achieve a certain angle. Press the board forward while laying flat on the ground. Align the short side of the board with the installed previous board and fold it down. Make sure this plate is positioned to form a locked body with the previous plate. Lift the board slightly (along with the previous mounted board in the previous row, about 30mm,) press it into the previous row and lower it down. When the first three rows are installed, adjust the distance between the floor and the wall to 10mm. Continue the installation as above until the end.
