Yunnan Agricultural Vocational and Technical College consists of the College of Agriculture and Horticulture Technology, the College of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine The School, School of Food, Drug and General Health, School of Engineering, School of Internet Technology, School of Economics and Management, Ideological and Political Theory Course Teaching and Research Department, Public Security Fundamentals Department and Sports Work Department, and three departments of the Sixth Academy.

Yunnan Agricultural Vocational and Technical College offers 49 majors and has 10,913 enrolled students. Among them, three majors are animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, horticulture technology, and engineering cost, which have been recognized by the Ministry of Education as national backbone majors, and seven majors are animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, horticulture technology, engineering cost, crop production technology, Chinese herbal medicine cultivation technology, agricultural product processing and quality testing, and financial management. The major is a provincial backbone major.
