The scientific research achievements in recent years mainly include:
1. confirmed that the 652nd amino acid of hepatitis B virus DNA polymerase is a functional site related to virus replication.
2. It is confirmed that the whole genome (3.2 kb) of HBV DNA in the liver of patients with HBV-related liver cancer in China has high replication ability, and the spliced variant of HBV in liver tissue can promote the replication of whole genome HBV;
3. It is confirmed that the hot spot mutation of HBV X gene can lead to the change of biological function, and it is particularly important that this change has genotype specificity.
4. Three new splicing variants of HBV genome were found, which proved that splicing-specific proteins were pathogenic, including hepatocyte vacuolation, trans-activation and anti-interference effects.
The research achievements in recent five years are mainly reflected in
1, published more than 20 research papers at home and abroad by the first author/correspondent, including international authoritative journals such as Journal of Virology and authoritative journals of related disciplines in China;
2. Registering the complete gene sequences of 23 hepatitis B virus strains from patients with liver cancer and the gene sequences of 3 splicing variants of hepatitis B virus in the gene bank;
3. Obtained the national patent (HBV cell line).
