Why did Israel, a tiny place, become a developed country?

Israel has high-quality citizens, donations from the United States, world-leading technology and strong national defense. The Jewish people are also good at doing business. Although the country is small, it is located in a region with harsh natural conditions, surrounded by the Arab world and living in a harsh environment. However, after decades of efforts, the only developed country in the Middle East has been built, which is the inevitable result of their anger and strength.
