Characteristics of the Second People's Hospital of Linhai City

As the only county-level institute of Otolaryngology in Zhejiang Province, under the leadership of Dr. Hou, who won the National Labor Medal on May 1st, a characteristic college with more than 20 kinds of professional equipment and 40 beds, including acoustic impedance, pure tone audiometry and otolaryngoscope, was built. Endoscopic ethmoidectomy, 3/4 laryngectomy and voice reconstruction of laryngeal carcinoma, subarachnoid shunt of inner ear lymph, stapes resection and hearing reconstruction were performed. More than 65,438 new technologies and new projects have partially filled the gaps in the province and Taizhou, reaching the domestic advanced level. In the past two years, it has obtained national patent inventions twice, and many projects have been approved by provincial, prefectural and municipal science and technology commissions. The hospital has carried out technical projects such as artificial knee and hip replacement, repair of vascular injury in limbs, minimally invasive puncture of intracerebral hematoma, interventional therapy under electronic gastrointestinal endoscope, fiberoptic bronchoscopy diagnosis and treatment, general surgery and gynecological abdominal surgery, and arthroscopic surgery.
