The world's first patent law with modern embryonic form

It is Britain's "Charter Law". This law was promulgated in 1623. It stipulates that anyone who invents a new manufacturing method in British territory can apply for a patent from the government to protect his exclusive manufacturing and sales rights for a certain period of time. The promulgation of this law marks the formal establishment of the patent system and lays the foundation for the later patent system. At the same time, the law also stipulates some restrictive clauses. For example, only British citizens or residents can apply for a patent, and the patent is valid for 14 years. These regulations also provide reference for the improvement of the patent system later.
