Is it normal for the roof of a self-built house to crack completely like a spider after the cement is smoothed?

Not normal.

This kind of crack, also known as shrinkage crack, is caused by the shrinkage of materials due to dry and wet changes, and generally presents a network structure on the wall. In addition to this kind of crack, there are other cracks caused by temperature, uneven foundation, deformation and structure. Some are dangerous cracks, and once they appear, there will be residential safety problems.
