New breakthroughs have been made in strengthening the basic living security for poor children.
The natural growth mechanism of orphan protection standard has been established. At present, the average monthly living standard of 2 1 and 7 1 orphans in the whole region is 1.947 yuan/month and 1.663 yuan/month respectively. In 2020, 2,646 orphans in the whole region were included in the national and autonomous regional security for the first time.
A new breakthrough has been made in establishing and improving the deliberation and coordination mechanism for the care and protection of left-behind children and children in distress.
20 18 adjusted and established the inter-ministerial contact meeting system for the care and protection of left-behind children in rural and pastoral areas of the autonomous region and the protection of children in distress, which formed the joint efforts of care and protection departments and further strengthened organizational leadership and overall coordination.
Promote the establishment of long-term mechanisms such as guardianship of left-behind children in rural areas, drop-out control and household registration, and make new breakthroughs.
In 2020 alone, the relevant departments of the autonomous region * * * helped 89 left-behind children without household registration to settle down, helped 103 children who dropped out of school to return to school, and instructed all localities to sign a letter of confirmation of entrusted guardianship responsibility for all left-behind children in rural areas in the region, which was included in the scope of effective guardianship.
