The predecessor of Ordos Eco-environment Vocational College is the former Ordos Agriculture and Animal Husbandry School, which was founded in 1978. It was originally a secondary specialized school with the purpose of cultivating outstanding professionals in agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry.
