What are the advantages of ceramsite aerated concrete wall panels? Are they stronger than hollow bricks?

Autoclaved aerated concrete blocks and ceramsite hollow bricks are not the same thing.

Autoclaved aerated concrete block air-generating agent, also known as air-entrained agent, is the key material for manufacturing aerated concrete. Most gas-generating agents use defatted aluminum powder. The aluminum powder mixed into the slurry produces a chemical reaction under alkaline conditions: the aluminum powder is extremely fine, and the hydrogen generated forms many small bubbles, which are retained in the concrete that solidifies quickly. These large numbers of evenly distributed small bubbles give aerated concrete blocks many excellent properties. The construction characteristics of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks are also very good. Not only can it be produced in various specifications in the factory, but it can also be sawed, planed, drilled and nailed like wood. Because of its relatively large size, it is difficult to construct. It is also very fast and can be used as a filling material for various buildings.

Ceramic hollow bricks: Concrete hollow blocks made of lightweight clay ceramsite are called ceramsite bricks. They have the advantages of fire prevention, light weight, high strength, heat insulation, moisture resistance, etc., and are most suitable for hollow floors. Frame building wall material, also used as wall material for re-partitioning older buildings. Easy to use, neat specifications. Pipes can be cut and installed at will during construction. There is no need to spray water during construction, the site is clean, and traditional cement mortar batch blocking can be used.

Ceramic bricks are light in weight and the transportation cost is only one third of that of red bricks. Every 12.5 ceramsite bricks can build one square meter of wall, which is three times more efficient than red bricks. Ceramsite does not contain acid or alkali and will not weather. It is bonded with cement and is not afraid of long-term flooding. It has a service life of more than 50 years. The built buildings are warm in winter and cool in summer.

It has the characteristics of light weight, durability, heat insulation and sound insulation. It can be used for roof insulation, interior and exterior walls, soundproof screens, etc.
