Clothing fabrics are made from various textile fibers through multiple processes such as spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing. Including all kinds of cloth, satin, woolen and various knitted products.
There are many types of textile fibers used in clothing fabrics, but in terms of fiber materials, they can be divided into two categories:
One type is naturally grown in nature and can be directly used for spinning. Yarn-woven fabrics are called natural fibers. For example, cotton, linen, wool, silk, etc. According to the source of natural fibers, they are divided into plant fibers (cotton, linen) and animal fibers (hair, silk).
The other type is chemical fiber. That is, textile fibers made of natural or synthetic polymer compounds as raw materials and chemical processing. According to the raw materials used and processing methods, they are divided into man-made fibers and synthetic fibers. For example, textile fibers made from wood, reed, cotton linters, etc. are man-made fibers, such as artificial cotton, rayon, etc. Textile fibers based on coal, petroleum, and natural gas are synthetic fibers, such as polyester, nylon, acrylic, etc.
