In order to effectively protect patent rights and standardize transaction behavior, according to Article 15 of the Implementing Rules of the Patent Law and Director's Order No. 18 of the State Intellectual Property Office, the parties involved in a patent licensing contract shall enter into force on the effective date of the contract. Go to the State Intellectual Property Office or local Intellectual Property Office for registration within 3 months. For patent license contracts that pass the filing review, the State Intellectual Property Office or the local intellectual property office will issue a notification of qualification, filing number, and filing date, and send the notification to the parties.
