It's wide, but it's thin, so it can't make room for passengers. Behind the passengers, the second battery pack has enough room to increase its height. Due to the shape of the area, the company said that it can support cylindrical, prismatic or pouch-shaped batteries.
According to patent documents, this setting can be used for hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric vehicles. The internal combustion engine can still be installed behind the front battery or the rear battery of the automobile.
